By day, I am Editor of an Australian arts & culture magazine.

By night, I love testing new products, experimenting with make-up, trying new hairstyles, going to the gym, and leading a relatively healthy lifestyle.

I started experimenting with turquoise and gold eyeliner when I was 12. My taste has, thankfully, improved over the years, and my love for all things beautiful has only grown.

Does that sound fickle? Hey, there’s nothing wrong with looking good, feeling good and making the best of your features.

I love reading beauty blogs but find it utterly infuriating when I buy the recommended product and find the so-called review was just complete spin. Worse yet, when the recommended product is unavailable in Australia.

Beauty Bites is different. I buy all the products with my own cash, so there will be no marketing spin. The opinions and thoughts will be unbiased and honest. I will make sure the products are available here, in Australia, with minimum fuss or minimum postage.

If I find a great hairdresser, I’ll tell you about them. If I find a great salad recipe, I’ll share it. If I have a disaster with a new product, I’ll warn you against it.

You won’t have to trawl through pages of self-indulgent copy: everything here will be in beautiful, bite-sized pieces.
