As the hot, steamy days of summer approach, us ladies know the impending dangers of make-up sliding off during the day. Shiny, sweaty faces? No, thank you. Clarins offers their Fix’ spray as a solution to this; the company states the product will offer long-lasting hold. Well, not in my experience.
There are two ways to apply the product. Do your sunscreen, foundation, concealer, etc. and spray it on before you continue with powder, bronzer, blusher and so on. OR finish your entire make-up and then just spray to set the look. I tried both ways and found the “before the powder” application more effective. Nonetheless, this wasn’t money well-spent. I didn’t see much of a difference when I used the product and when I didn’t. The sensation of the cool spray on your face is nice, but a $5 can of Evian can do that.
